Love, Love, Love!

Some weeks my ‘Heavenly Hotline’ seems to be working on overdrive and this is one of those weeks.  I meditate and guidance floods through, for this I am extremely humbled and grateful.

Waking as usual at 5am on Monday in order to meditate before getting on with my day – this little routine is sacred to me.  If I oversleep, which is rare, I feel somehow cheated of my favourite part of the day!  Sitting in my bed, I concentrated on my breath and there it was; the silent voice that echoes through my mind,  “Love everything.”  My immediate response was “I do!” and so further guidance was forthcoming “No, love EVERYTHING!” this immediately got me thinking; I suppose I don’t really love EVERYTHING I haven’t felt a great deal of love towards people who deliberately hurt other sentient beings, especially those who enjoy causing suffering, a couple of people who have done harm to my children are not high on my ‘I love you list’ and people who have hurt me are fairly low down too.

Later in the morning I went off to meet a group of friends and synchronicity worked it’s magic; the theme for the morning was love and so I began thinking of all of the people for whom I felt no love and tried to send them love, at first it wasn’t very easy, but as time went on it began to work.   Let me explain to those people who weren’t on my ‘I love you’ list I do not have an opposite one, there is no ‘I hate you list’!  I had just chosen not to love these people.

The whole day was full of lessons on how to love and the theme continues to progress and the week goes on.  After leaving the group I went off to communicate with a dog (I am an animal communicator, in case you didn’t know) and the first thing she showed me was an image of domestic violence, a large man using his fists on his partner and then turning on the dog, she was a rescued dog, I hasten to add, and she was showing me her first home.  As I got to know her better the affect of this trauma on her became very apparent.  I sent the situation healing and the man love!

This one simple phrase, ‘Love everything’ has provoked a great deal of deep thinking for me and many questions so here are some and the conclusions I have drawn:

  1. Why?  Because all thoughts carry vibrations that not only affect the thinker, they go out on an energetic level much further than that.  Therefore, I want the thoughts that I am giving to myself and the universe to be those of loving kindness.
  2. Don’t bad people deserve punishment?  Hmm – tough question!  Let’s move away from the physical ‘here and now’ for a moment and look at a bigger picture.  We are all spirit having a physical journey and we are here to learn.  This is a highly complex subject which will be addressed in a later book, but for now and in a very simplistic nutshell.  Physical bodies can be injured and die, our minds can be injured, but our spirit remains intact.  The lessons that we receive on a soul level are the important ones, they determine not only how we progress in this life, but also the hereafter.  People who have a low vibrational frequency (those who we label bad or evil) can, at some point, choose to raise this, sometimes it will happen very quickly;  the criminal who has a sudden awakening and turns their life around  to do good and sometimes it may take many lifetimes.
  3. What’s the point?  The point is that we are all connected, nothing is separate and as such all thoughts, deeds and actions must impact on everything.  The more light and love we give out the less hatred there will be in our world.  I cannot explain this concept  any better than the Lakota prayer below;  it is beautiful:

Lakota Prayer – Aho Mitakuye Oyasin
All my relations. I honour you in this circle of life with me today.  I am grateful for this opportunity to acknowledge you in this prayer….

To the Creator, for the ultimate gift of life, I thank you.

To the mineral nation that has built and maintained my bones and all foundations of life experience, I thank you.

To the plant nation that sustains my organs and body and gives me healing herbs for sickness, I thank you.

To the animal nation that feeds me from your own flesh and offers your loyal companionship in this walk of life, I thank you.

To the human nation that shares my path as a soul upon the sacred wheel of Earthly life, I thank you.

To the Spirit nation that guides me invisibly through the ups and downs of life and for carrying the torch of light through the Ages, I thank you.

To the Four Winds of Change and Growth, I thank you.

You are all my relations, my relatives, without whom I would not live. We are in the circle of life together, co-existing, co-dependent, co-creating our destiny. One, not more important than the other. One nation evolving from the other and yet each dependent upon the one above and the one below. All of us a part of the Great Mystery.

 Thank you for this Life.

This has been and will continue to be, no doubt, quite a challenge, our lives are full of information that comes to us, right into our homes and in the workplace in the form of news reports, social media and on our streets this information causes us to have a sharp intake of breath and wonder why?

This week take the LOVE CHALLENGE send love to all things and all situations and see how it makes you feel.

Good luck x
